Drinking Water Systems
Drinking water filtration systems are a smart investment for any
family's home. Medical studies have reported for years that a properly
hydrated body is more physical fit and immune to more disease.
Unfortunately, we cannot improve our health by drinking contaminated
water. Bottled water is an expensive source of water and
several studies have shown that bottled water is not as pure as many
bottlers claim.
The EPA has a set standard of about 90 contaminants that can be found in
drinking water and their possible sources. The chemicals and
minerals, which are added to our water, can cause scale, and problems
with your pipes.
An inexpensive faucet filter can be placed on a kitchen faucet to
provide you with fresh drinking water. However, if you want a
broader solution, then think about a whole house filtration system.
Remember, which ever system you chose, don't forget to replace the
filters on a regular schedule. Sooner if the taste of your water
changes or if you detect odor.
